What, you may ask, does that mean?
Well, after more than 25 years in the advertising and film industry, I like to think I do more than just facilitate all the moving pieces and parts, and manage the money of a production. Lots of people can do that.
I don’t just want to produce commercials. I want to help make them better.
I’m about controlling quality, not just costs. I want to contribute to the creative product, not just the production.
Sure, I take charge, but always with a sense of humor. One creative director referred to me (lovingly, I hope) as "the enforcer, the mother hen, the CPA, the disciplinarian and the general, marshaling dozens into single file, but always with a smile.” That, makes me smile.
While I’m lucky enough to live in my beloved hometown of New Orleans, my production travels have taken me from California to South Africa and all points in between, while working for ad agencies The Richards Group, Rucker & Co, Tracy-Locke, DDB, TM, The Integer Group, Trumpet, Peter Mayer and BBDO/Atlanta. I’ve also been known to wear a line producer hat, on occasion.
Some of my clients include: The Home Depot, AAA, HEB, Travelocity, Red Roof Inn, Budweiser, Miller Beer, ESPN, Pioneer, Tenet Hospitals, Nationwide Insurance, Louisiana Tourism, Comcast, Suddenlink, TXU, Borden Milk and Partnership for a Drug Free America.
Work I've produced has been recognized by Communications Arts, The One Show, The Art Director's Club of New York, The Chicago International Film Festival, the ADDYs and the AAF.
I’m a loyal friend, sidekick, daughter, sister and Aunt. I’m a foodie, an eternal optimist, tennis obsessed, and a proud Who Dat! forever.
